Important Policies
If you are a will - call customer, please remember you must schedule your delivery at least 1 day before your delivery day. If you are not sure when your delivery day is, please review our web page Delivery days & Areas.  A general rule to remember is to order fuel when you reach 1/3 of a full tank. A fee ranging from $39.00 to $49.00 will be charged for off day deliveries.  This is important to keep in mind, as it helps us to better serve you with low fuel prices.

During the heating season our drivers start making deliveries early in the morning; therefore, going back to an area we've already done puts us behind on deliveries to other customers.  If the driver is done making deliveries in your area, and we need to go back, there will be an additional charge.

HL Fuel Co Inc. requires C.O.D. payment unless you are set up as a charge account customer.  If you are a charge customer, we will leave the bill and you will have 5 days to pay the cash price. Your prompt payment allows us to buy fuel at the most competitive rates, which we pass on to you.  Payment after 5 days will be at our charge price which is 10 cents per gallon more.

If you are on Automatic Delivery, you have the right to select a third party to be notified in case of termination of your fuel service.  Please let us know if you decide you want someone notified in this case.

Plastic Fill Pipes - Plastic fill and vent pipes can no longer be used. Steel piping is required for all lines.  No pipes extending out of the building should terminate inside the building.  Damage and/or spills resulting from improper or defective equipment will not be the responsibility of HL Fuel Co. Inc.
